StoryMaps have become an increasingly popular way of merging a range of media materials in an engaging way, and students often find them more interesting than traditional presentations of historical information. There are two StoryMaps that have been created in recent years and tell part of Dr. Debo's story. The first, developed by the OSU Archives' HistoryPin intern, Stephanie Berson, presents a concise overview of Dr. Debo's life using photographs from her collection. The second is part of a larger project tied to Marshall, Oklahoma's, Prairie City Days (see the "Community" tab above for more information). The Prairie City StoryMap follows the tour route for the annual driving excursion led by Dr. Debo and others as a way of passing along the community's history.
